Red Eagle Exploration is committed to implementing best practices of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the regions where it operates. The Red Eagle Exploration’s goal is to develop a project under the guidelines of responsible mining and following a model of social and environmental management that has a positive impact on the residents and the areas where it operates. The successful responsible mining practices implemented by Red Eagle Mining in Santa Rosa de Osos serve as a model for Red Eagle Exploration’s CSR programs.
Red Eagle Exploration is implementing CSR programs focused on education, health, culture, recreation and sports, infrastructure, transparency, and institutional strengthening with an inclusive approach to ensure that local authorities, communities and Red Eagle Exploration itself participate in the development and the implementation the CSR programs.
HELPING TO PLANT THE SEEDS FOR THE FUTURE OF VETAS: SUPPORTING EDUCATION
Red Eagle Exploration seeks to bolster the social fabric in the community of Vetas. As such, it supports several efforts to improve the quality and the access to education for children and youth in our area of influence (AOI).
For example, Red Eagle Exploration is developing a program to give therapeutic support to children with learning disabilities at the San Juan Nepomuceno School. Red Eagle Exploration also started an educational aid program to support students from Vetas who are carrying out undergraduate studies in the city of Bucaramanga.
- San Juan Nepomuceno School renovations: The Company lead the renovation works carried out in the Vetas high school facilities as a part of a joint effort between the Municipality, the National Armed Forces and Red Eagle Exploration.
HEALTH: IMPROVING QUALITY, COVERAGE AND PREVENTION
In the health area, Red Eagle Exploration has set as its main objectives increasing and improving the quality, coverage and accessibility of health services to communities within our AOI. To this end, Red Eagle Exploration provides a doctor, a nurse and an ambulance driver to the Health Center Nuestra Señora del Carmen in Vetas in order to be able to offer a permanent and high quality health services to the community. With regards to disease prevention, Red Eagle Exploration has provided financial and logistics support for the development of health brigades in Vetas carried out by the Battalion of Caldas Engineers and the Municipal Administration.
BUILDING A LONG TERM RELATIONSHIP WITH LOCAL COMMUNITIES
Red Eagle Exploration is aware transparency and information sharing are key pillars of responsible mining. Red Eagle Exploration has established permanent communication channels with local stakeholders, community leaders, and representatives through periodic information workshops and high level meetings with local authorities and company representatives.

PROMOTING CULTURE, RECREATION AND SPORTS
Culture, recreation and sports are important to the development of a healthy community environment. Red Eagle Exploration, in coordination with the municipalities within its AOI, is promoting programs that preserve cultural traditions, encourage community values and create healthy living spaces for all. Among others, Red Eagle Exploration has participated in the Vetas Annual Traditional Festivities and has provided recreation and leisure materials for children during their time outside the classrom.

IMPROVING LOCAL INFRASTRUCTURE
With the participation of different entities and governmental authorities, Red Eagle Exploration is helping to improve the local infrastructure within its AOI. For example, Red Eagle Exploration maintains the Berlín-Vetas-California road along with other more rural roads. Given the importance of the local cathedral, Red Eagle Exploration is working with the community to repair the cathedral’s rooftop.
